AMVETS
Department of Oregon Convention - The AMVETS Department of Oregon Convention will be held at AMVETS Post 13, Sweet Home, Oregon, May
21-23. Pre-
registration is $40 and $45 at the door. Post 2000 will have 7 delegates on hand to vote on the pressing
issues facing our organization as well as new officers. Saturday, May 22nd, is the major day of business, followed by the annual
Conven-tion banquet. Also included in the day of business is the auction of prizes held every year to raise money for AMVETS
Department of Oregon. Post 13 has hosted the Convention many times and has always proven to be an outstanding host. Although
only Convention delegates from various posts are permitted to vote on issues and officers, all AMVETS members are invited and urged
to attend. Further information can be obtained as well as a Convention registration form by giving me a call at (971)241-7710.
